Apekshya Lohani

My name is Apekshya Lohani, and I am from Nepal. I am a friendly, kind, energetic, talented, creative and traditional South Asian girl. I lived in Portugal for almost 3 years, from when I was in 5th grade until I had almost finished 8th grade. I arrived in the summer of 2019. Unfortunately I had to leave behind that beautiful country, my loving friends and the wonderful BOWING team and move to Denmark due to family reasons. I met the team at school, in São Teotónio. It was for all the creative, intelligent and amazing people who love to dance, sing, draw, prove themselves and show their talent. Being a part of this group was a wonderful experience, as I am an extrovert, too. So BOWING was a totally perfect place for me. One of the things that has changed after I joined was that I got a lot of new friends. I loved the fact that it was for people from every country and every age. It showed respect for everyone. You also have the opportunity to know about new religions, new people, new languages, different types of food. I have a lot of beautiful memories, but my two strongest memories are when we had to go to a beautiful location and take some pictures with traditional clothes (Family Victories). The other one is probably my 13th birthday celebration. We were rehearsing for the performance and the instructors were too sweet. In the end of the rehearsal they celebrated my birthday with a small cake and we were all dancing. Woah, it's probably the best feeling, when everyone surrounding you is happy, smiling, laughing and celebrating with you and it is all unexpected. I am really happy that you haven’t forgotten me and wanted me to participate in this. I just want to thank you all for the wonderful memories I have. Even though I was gone for a period of time, I would still say I MISS YOU ALL.
